What are the steps for identifying research problems?

Answer

Starting with a general topic, the research process is iterative, and involves the following:

  • Breaking a topic down into concepts
  • Searching on those concepts and similar tools
  • Finding search tools and databases in which to search
  • Refining the original topic/concepts as necessary
