Q. Does the library have any searchable records of famous or notable speeches/transcripts?

I saw that Virginia Tech had a search service (http://www.lib.vt.edu/find/byformat/speeches-transcripts.html) and would like to know if Georgetown had any similar services.

That's a useful page that Virginia Tech has made! I admit we don't have anything similar that brings together all our speech/transcript databases, but we do have access to many of the resources listed on VT's page, including LexisNexis and CQ Press.

Some GU-specific resources I'd recommend for looking at famous speeches, both current and historical:

Although it's not specific to GU (and very focused on political speeches), I also enjoy browsing through CSPAN's Video Library.
