How do I connect my phone to the internet at Georgetown?

Answer

On an iPhone, simply navigate to the "WiFi" section in Settings, select "SaxaNet", and then enter your NetID and password. You may have to accept a security certificate if this is your first time accessing the WiFi.

On an Android, navigate to the "Connections" section in Settings, then click on "WiFi". Click on "SaxaNet", then enter your NetID and password, and list the domain as "georgetown.edu". You may have to verify several other settings, which can be found on the UIS website.

For more information on wireless network access, contact University Information Services at help@georgetown.edu or (202) 687-4949.
