Q. who was the librarian in 1962-66?

My name is Sheila Rogers Ackerlind (Inst. Lang. & Ling, class of 1966), and my father's cousin, a Jesuit, was the librarian at the time. I forget his name. Would you have it in a list of librarians?
He was a wonderful person and perhaps presided over the planning of the [then] new library. Thank you very much.

Answer

James B. Horigan, S.J., was the director of libraries when ground was broken for Lauinger Library in 1967. This photo from the University Archives is of the groundbreaking: http://hdl.handle.net/10822/554442.
