Can I use Zotero on a Chromebook?
I have a Chromebook and want to use and install Zotero -- how do I do that?

We don't recommend downloading and installing the full version of Zotero on Chromebooks or other Linux-based systems. (It's possible, but complicated -- see below.)
Instead, we suggest:
- the web-based Zotero at zotero.org.
- ZoteroBib (zbib.org) -- great for quick bibliographies or citations
- RefWorks
I'm comfortable modifying my Chromebook's operating system and really want to use Zotero: You can install Linux on your Chromebook, then install either the official Zotero tarball or zotero-deb. You will need an x86_64 Chromebook. Zotero.org has instructions.
