What can't I do with an e-book from the library?
Answer
Depending on the publisher and provider of the e-book, your ability to do the following may be limited or completely restricted: use a book with other library users simultaneously; annotate or bookmark the book in your own account; print pages; download the book for use offline; download the book to a mobile device.
In using library resources, including e-books, you are bound by policies, including, but not limited to:
- The provider's terms of use (usually available on their website)
- United States and international copyright law
- Georgetown University's policies
- Georgetown University Libraries' policies, especially Responsible Use of Electronic Resources
