I placed a Consortium request and immediately got an email that it was 'rejected.' What do I do now?

Answer

It appears that this is happening when the item is one where different versions have been “collapsed” onto a single entry in HoyaSearch. In these cases, when the you try to request from the high-level record, the system doesn’t know what edition to attach the record to and so cannot complete the process. This can be solved by clicking on the “xx versions found” link at the top of the record, and then requesting a specific edition:

If you're still getting a rejection email immediately after you place the request please come by the Circulation Desk on the 3rd floor of Lauinger Library, or get in touch with us at accessservices@georgetown.edu or 202.687.7607.
