Q. How do I place a request for a book? How will I know when the book is ready for pickup?

Answer

You can place a request through HoyaSearch, our library system. Sign in to your account with your NetID and password. You will see an option for Georgetown Request. Click on the link to send the request.

Once you've made a request, it generally takes us about 24 hours to get the book from the shelves and process it. Once the book is ready for pickup, we will send you an email. We will hold the book for 8 days before returning it back to the bookstacks.

For more information see our Paging Books webpage.
