PressReader App Authentication
Before accessing premium content through the Georgetown subscription to PressReader, app users must authenticate. Once authenticated, users are allotted 168 hours (roughly 7 days) of premium access before the application must be re-authenticated.
How to Authenticate
- Download the PressReader App.
- Connect to the campus WiFi (Saxanet or GuestNet)
- Open the PressReader App and in Settings have "Enable Hotspots" enabled.
- You are now authenticated for 168 hours. Press Reader Support recommends downloading desired content while at a HotSpot (our campus WiFi) which should enable you to read the content on the app once you leave the Hotspot.
If you are unable to connect to the campus WiFi to authenticate using the app, we suggest using the PressReader web version.
