The credibility of a source can be determined by asking some tough questions: Who is the author? What are his or her credentials? For what purpose was the text created--entertainment, research, editorial musing? Is there a bibliography or notes showing you their research? See this detailed list for more criteria. Remember, you must use credible sources in order to be considered one yourself!
