Q

I would like to request a book, but it's listed as 'In Transit' from off campus shelving -- so there's no request button for it in the catalog.

I would like to request a book, but it's listed as 'In Transit' from off campus shelving -- so there's no request button for it in the catalog. Can I still request it?

Answer

Books in transit can't be requested--they're on their way to or from storage. Check back in a day and you should be able to request the book. Keep in mind that a patron gets to keep a book for 2 weeks before it can be recalled. In the meantime, try requesting the book from the WRLC.
