Q

Do we have institutional access to Wiley Online Library?

I am trying to get an article on Wiley Online Library that is locked. It has me signed in as Georgetown University, but wants a further username and password to let me access the article. Thanks!

Answer

Our online databases can only be accessed by current Georgetown students, faculty, and staff. If you fall into one of these categories and you're off-campus, you will first need to log into our system at http://library.georgetown.edu. Click the key icon on the lower-right hand of the library homepage and enter your netID and password.

After you've logged in, you should be able to access the material you need.

Keep in mind GU does not have access to all Wiley Online Library materials. To check on e-book access, search the item title in our catalog, GEORGE. To check on journal article access, look up the journal title in Journal Finder.

If you are not a current Georgetown patron, you will need to use one of the public computers in the circulation area of Lauinger Library. That area is open to the public during the week from 8 AM - 11 PM.
