Answer

The University has two official spaces for nursing mothers:

  • Car Barn Room 206B behind Einstein Bagels.  The room is available Monday through Friday, from 8:00am until 9:00pm, and Saturdays from 8:00am until 5:00pm.

  • Intercultural Center (ICC) Room 229 behind the ICC Auditorium (look for the signs).  The room is available Monday through Friday, from 8:00am until 9:00pm, and Saturdays from 8:00am until 5:00pm.

Please note that one must pre-register to use these spaces.

While the library does not offer an official mother's room we will make efforts to accomodate your specific needs (for example, if you're attending a workshop at the library and can not use one of the university rooms). Please contact Anna Simon at ajs299@georgetown.edu for assistance.
