Answer

Circulation will hold an un-checked out book for you for up to two days on a hold shelf. Your two days renews every time you use the book. Circulation also has course reserves; books GU students request from Lauinger or a WRLC library; and Interlibrary Loan books--all of which could be considered hold shelves! Ask at Circulation for more help.
