Answer

Using public transportation to reach GU is strongly encouraged. There are a limited number of daily parking spaces available in the Southwest Garage, accessed by entering campus from Canal Road. Current rates for visitor parking can be found on the Office of Transportation Management website.

Street parking around campus is severely limited and strictly enforced. Most streets require a Zone 2 residential permit issued by the District of Columbia for parking for longer than two hours. Very few metered spaces are available on Reservoir Road, 37th Street, and Prospect Street.

For more information to help plan your visit, please read "Visiting Information."
