Answers @ Georgetown Library - Just Ask

Hello, I'm a GWU student. Can I obtain a journal article from your database that can only be found online?

In the journal Language & Communication (Vol. 8 Issue 3.), there is an article by Howard Giles titled "Introduction: The communicative contexts of accommodation". You are the only library in the region with full access to this article on ScienceDirect. Is it possible for me to obtain a copy? I tried and cannot request an interlibrary loan - I'm guessing because you don't have a tangible copy.

Please contact your Interlibrary Loan Department, at Gelman Library.  They should be able to assist you in getting this article.  You also might try ordering this article through the Consortium Loan Service (CLS).  Ask a Gelman Reference Librarian if you need assistance in ordering through CLS.
